The purpose is to come toge ther and provide a holding environment for conversations about race. We re cognize that therapists of color have not had the room to name and describ e their experiences within our organization. The first goal of this sessio n is to provide a framework for active listening and holding the racialize d wounds of subjugated therapists. The second goal is to provide White the rapists the tools to listen non-defensively in dialogue regarding race.
