 e training! The Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) Externship\, de
 veloped by Dr. Susan Johnson\, is an immersion into the science and power 
 of attachment and emotion. You will learn how to shift the way you underst
 and couples in distress and change the way you work with families\, couple
 s\, and individuals. This is an experiential and didactic training that wi
 ll help you be more effective in your clinical practice as well as strengt
 hen relationships in your own life!  This is an official EFT Externship\,
  endorsed by the Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICE
 EFT).\nReasons to attend this in-person training:\n\n 	EFT is an experient
 ial model\, and learning EFT where you are fully present with others can h
 elp you "get" the model on a deeper level\n 	Reduces distractions of famil
 y\, internet\, TV\, colleagues. An away message is your friend!\n 	Provide
 s the structure of a physical learning environment that can help you actua
 lly attend and complete the training\n 	Conversations with instructors and
  other participants on breaks and over lunch furthers learning\n 	Develops
  a sense of connection with local EFT therapists which supports your growt
 h as an EFT therapist and builds your referral network\n\nCE CREDIT: This 
 training qualifies for 24 continuation education credits.  ChicagoEFT is 
 licensed to offer CE's for LMFT\, LCPC\, LCSW professionals and Psychologi
 sts in the state of Illinois. However\, many states have reciprocity agree
