EFT Foundations Series

There is so much to learn and master in the process of becoming proficient in the EFT model! These 2-hour workshops will methodically explain the core concepts of Emotionally Focused Therapy, in concept and in practice.

These workshops are open to:

  • those already trained in EFT looking to refine their understanding of the model
  • the greater mental health professional community, those curious about the model
  • Students! If you are a student, simply type N/A in the registration for license type and number.

This fifth foundation workshop will focus on the five steps of the tango, which is the most important process a therapist uses in every EFT session.

Testimonies from participants of the EFT Foundations Series:

“I really appreciated this workshop as a refresher after attending the externship last summer. I love the emphasis on the theme of framing “negative” behaviors as adaptations to difficult circumstances. Such a beautiful humanistic perception and reminder for everyone, the therapist, and clients alike. Thanks so much, Josh!”

“Josh teaches in an accessible way and provides such wonderful examples that help with how to translate training into practice.”

“I really appreciate your clear and compassionate way of teaching and sharing of your experience. Thank you so much for being willing to consistently share your wisdom and experience to help the EFT community of clinicians grow in our capacity to faithfully serve our clients and communities to build healthier and stronger bonds with one another. What a gift!”

“Thank you for taking so much time to make this information accessible to all!
Thank you, Josh. Your genuine demeanor during the presentation and ability to provide your experiences and words during sessions as examples is so helpful. Thank you and can’t wait to continue to learn with you!”
