Local Learning: “Living Love That Lasts”
A Documentary Film Screening with Creators of the Film Live on the Call!
Sunday, January 17, 2021
As EFT’ers, we know how inspiring it is to watch our trainers work with couples, helping them “get” what gets in the way of loving connection and discover how to find their way back to one another. What if couples had a kind of mentorship of their own? Maybe a very diverse set of couples who’ve been together for 25 years or more and were willing to share their stories of challenge, imperfection, and change over the course of their relationship? That’s what this documentary film offers: real stories of real couples about love that grows over a lifetime—six couples who teach us that love’s labors are not lost, and who inspire us to reflect on our own perceptions of long-term attachment and to grow our capacity to inspire in our clients the possibility of a living, lasting love.
We will be joined in this screening by some of the EFT supervisors and trainers who created this film:
Robert Ogner, Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor
Nancy Gardner, Certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor, and Trainer
Susan Thau, Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor
Veronica Kallos-Lilly, Certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor, and Trainer
They’ll share with us how the film came to be and give us things to think about while we’re viewing it. The creators will also be on hand afterwards to hear our impressions and answer our questions.

About the Presenter
Anne Rossen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who serves on ChicagoEFT’s board of directors. Passionate about personal and relational well-being and the capabilities that create it, she was immediately drawn to help back this project, conceived by EFTers, when it first appeared on Kickstarter in early 2016. With the film a reality now, she is excited to share it with our community and to introduce some of the EFT supervisors and trainers who created it, along with the story behind their labor of love.
