Dr. Sue Johnson is one of the originators and the main proponent of Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT). She is also the director of the International Centre for Excellence in EFT (ICEEFT). ChicagoEFT is a member of ICEEFT, and is immensely grateful to Dr Johnson for her relentless development of this evidence-based approach to therapy.
Dr Johnson is a clinical psychologist, researcher, and professor. She presents and writes on attachment and bonding, the science of love, interventions to repair relationships, and the application of EFT to working with couples and individuals.
